When we sell Argentinian wine to the world, we talk about unique wine regions and climate, about the power of Malbec, about some very interesting varieties that we are producing, among other virtues. However, something that is really unique about our wines when compared to some other New World wines is the value.
Compared to other wines, Malbecs provide above the average value. People from around the world seek the fruit, drinkability and easy texture when they are selecting an Argentine Malbec, and it almost always delivers.
And if we are talking about our high-end wines, you can get a worldwide acclaimed Malbec for $30 or $40 dollars, the same price that you can get for an average Cabernet Sauvignon from Nava Valley, Pinot Noir from France or Barolo from Italy.
Below, a totally subjective list of Great Values Malbecs starters from the VinoApp team, after blindly tasting and rating more than 600 bottles. If you haven’t tried an Argentinian Malbec yet, then you know where to start.
