San Pablo is the northernmost subzone from Tunuyán, Uco Valley. It is one of the most extreme regions of Mendoza, with an altitude range of 3,600 ft (1,100m) to 5,600 ft (1,700m) and one of the lowest annual average temperatures.
Its closeness to the Andes enables it to be a zone with one of the largest temperature amplitudes and excellent irrigation conditions. This region is also known for its east-facing slopes. Some of the unmatched premium conditions of this terroir has caught the eyes of several people.
Of course, it is not easy to produce in San Pablo, but it seems that it worth it! At least up to Zuccardi, Salentein, Trivento, Tupun and Diego Rosso Wines, among others.
Overall, fresh and elegant wines, round tannins, with a wild expression driven by its ambient.
