The winery Tempus Alba is a family project that was born in 2002 with the construction of the winery, located in Coquimbito, Maipú, Mendoza.

However, the Biondolillo family has a winemaking legacy which traces back to 100 years, when their ancestors journeyed to America all the way from Italy, and the winery is currently managed by their fourth generation.

Old reliable Merlot from Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza.

92 Points – $8.-

Clean and bright, ruby red with garnet flashes. Powerful and clear with certain complexity. The first nose delivers a vegetable side with notes of asparagus, olives, jalapeños. Then, as it opens, blueberry jam, fruit cake, dates, plum candy, dried tomato, black pepper and yoghurt arise. Fresh with good acidity. Mild and fluid. Well polished tannins. Long finish, full of vegetable and fruity notes.

Great value Cabernet Sauvignon from Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza.

92 Points – $9.-

Garnet red color of medium plus intensity. Beautiful expression, it grows once it has some minutes in the glass. Wide aromatic palette, full of eucalyptus, thyme, green pepper, blackberries, olives, blueberries, smoke, vanilla, roasted red pepper, yoghurt, earth, leather and coffee. Medium sweet with crispy acidity. Medium structure and well-marked active tannins. Alcohol in fair balance. Again balsamic notes like eucalyptus and mint dominate. Medium-Long persistence.

Top Malbec from Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza.

96 Points – $30.-

Clean ruby red with medium intensity cherry dyes. Captivating and complex nose of great aromatic palette. In the beginning, the spices are expressed in notes of thyme, liquorice oregano and cinnamon. Once opened, olives, black cherry, stone, black earth, eucalyptus, black tea, blackberries, dill, nuts, vanilla, caramel flowers and leather and dried figs, show up. Elegant, seamless texture. Ripe and polished tannins. Displays a superb acidity that adds tension. Fruits and flowers again. Long persistence and velvety finish. Stunning.
